MEET SOME OF 21st CENTURY INNOVATORS PARTICIPANTS

My name is Reanelle, I am 16 years of age. I have recently completed my O Level Examinations and received a full certificate of passes.

I would like to further my studies in the area of medicine and become a neurosurgeon. 21stCenturyInnovators.com has enabled me to become part of a positive movement that can help my peers and myself to become apart of the solution that is needed to make Trinidad and Tobago a better place.

My name is Touré, and I am currently going into my second year at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. I am currently doing a BFA (Bachelor’s of Fine Arts) in Theatre Design and Production or TDP.  I graduated from St. Anthony’s College in 2016, and went straight into UTT.

My main intent for saying all this is not to boast or to show how much I’ve accomplished, but to shed some encouragement. I never always got the best grades and got all the awards but I put in effort.

To those who are reading this, if you’re feeling hopeless, always remember that God does not call the qualified, but qualifies the called. Keep pushing towards your goals. It won’t happen overnight but keep striving. You’re almost there.

I go by many names, “Coybert” , “Coyfish” , “Coy”, but the name given to me by my parents is Coyellsuch an anticlimax 😂.

I am presently 18 years of age but I’d like to believe, much to the disapproval of my parents, that I’m older, well at least mentally.

I’ve completed my O’level exams (CSEC), which is an examination Caribbeanites (this is not a real word and should not be used) do. I attained 7 distinctions and one 2.

I’ve also completed my A level exams where I attained a full certificate of passes entailing 4 1’s. (The phrasing of the last sentence is telling ..and probably indicates that I didn’t do as well as I wanted to … but who knows 🤷🏾‍♂️😂). I guess you can say I didn’t live up to the hype 🙃. “That’s small thing” as we say in Trinidad, these things happen in life.
As of now, I’m enjoying my gap year in which I’ll be doing the SAT exam in order to attend a university in the US (I’m not sure at to which one as yet). Hopefully 21stCenturyInnovators.com gets me one step closer in fulfilling my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Actually #Iwillbe…anentrepreneur, so it’s just a matter of time. “As a man thinketh, so is he”
